gallery garden | | The Gallery of NUOVA ICONA is located on the Island of Giudecca, Venice, on the first floor of a XVI century building. Prior to hosting the gallery, it was the local police station, complete with a single cell for hosting the occasional minor offender. It now consists of two exhibition spaces totalling approximately 80 sq.metres, plus an archives studio.
The gallery is within easy reach of the 'vaporetto'
and 'motoscafo', the two principal means of water transport in the city of Venice. For fuller details on how to reach the gallery, please refer to the map.

The gallery is usually open during exhibitions, Thursdays to Sundays inclusive, from 16.00 hours to 20.00 hours (4 p.m. to 8 p.m.) or by appointment. Please refer to more specific information on the current exhibition page.
